Omar Al-Hariri was an Egyptian actor born in Cairo, Egypt, on June 16, 1922. He passed away on October 16, 2011, at the age of 89. His career began in cinema as a child when he appeared in the 1937 movie Salama in Khair. He later graduated from the Higher Institute for the Art of Arab Acting in 1947. Following his graduation, he worked in the Youssef Wahbi theater, participating in the 1948 play Jealousy, and subsequently worked in the National Theater. In 1968, he left Cairo to establish the National Theater in Libya, where he worked as a teacher for acting and directing until 1974. Upon his return, he participated in dozens of works across cinema, theater, and television, with prominent works including Resident Qasadi, Sugar Hanem, and See, he did not see an.
