Nijiro Murakami is a Japanese actor and voice actor born in Tokyo, Japan on March 17, 1997. He is the son of actor Murakami Jun and singer UA. He grew up with his mother, stepfather, and three half-siblings, moving to Okinawa while attending preparatory school, and also studied for some years in Montreal, Canada. He made his acting debut in 2014 as the main character Kaito in the film Still the Water, earning the Best Newcomer Award at the 29th Kasaki Film Festival. In 2015, he debuted in the television series Tenshi no Naifu and later that year starred in the live-action adaptation of the anime series AnoHana. He has accumulated fifty-two known acting credits in his career.
