Niamh Cusack is an Irish actress born on October 20, 1959, in Dalkey, County Dublin, Ireland. Coming from a family with deep roots in the performing arts, she is the daughter of Irish actor Cyril Cusack and the sister of Sinéad Cusack and Sorcha Cusack. Involved in acting since a young age, she has performed in a long line of major stage productions and served with the Royal Shakespeare Company since the mid-1980s. On television, she is known for her long-running role as Dr. Kate Rowan in the UK series Heartbeat from 1992 to 1995, alongside numerous other television appearances. Additionally, she has worked as a voice actress on radio and starred in the 2011 film In Love with Alma Cogan.
