Mischa Anne Marsden Barton is a British-American actress born on January 24, 1986, in Hammersmith, London, UK. She began her career in theater, appearing in productions such as Tony Kushner's Slavs and James Lapine's Twelve Dreams at New York City's Lincoln Center. Barton made her screen debut with a guest appearance on the American soap opera All My Children and voiced Betty Ann Bongo on the Nickelodeon cartoon series KaBlam. Her first significant film role was in the drama Lawn Dogs, co-starring Sam Rockwell. She has also appeared in major pictures such as the romantic comedy Notting Hill and M. Night Shyamalan's psychological thriller The Sixth Sense.
