Biography
Michael Anthony Richards is an American actor, comedian, writer, and television producer born on July 24, 1949. He is best known for portraying Cosmo Kramer on the television sitcom Seinfeld. Richards began his career as a stand-up comedian and gained national recognition after appearing on Billy Crystal's first cable television special. He later served as a series regular on the ABC program Fridays. Before his role on Seinfeld, he made guest appearances on various television shows, including Cheers, Night Court, Miami Vice, and St. Elsewhere. His film credits include roles in So I Married an Axe Murderer, Airheads, Young Doctors in Love, Problem Child, Coneheads, and UHF.
