Biography
Mei Nagano is a Japanese actress born on September 24, 1999, in Tokyo, Japan. She was scouted in Kichijouji, Tokyo during her third year of elementary school and made her acting debut in the 2009 action-adventure film Hard Revenge Milly: Bloody Battle as a minor character. She is known for playing Rinko Yamato in the 2015 romantic comedy film My Love Story! and Yosano Suzume in the 2017 film Daytime Shooting Star. In July 2016, she starred in her first lead role in the teen drama Koe Koi as high school student Yuiko Yoshioka. In June 2017, she was announced as the lead for NHK's 98th Asadora, Hanbun, Aoi, which aired in April 2018.
