Biography
Mari Yamamoto is a Japanese actress and journalist born in Japan. She moved to London with her family in 1991 and returned to Tokyo in 1994 at the age of 8. Yamamoto studied international relations at the International Christian University in Tokyo, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts. She then moved to New York City to study method acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, where she was also part of The Bats acting company at The Flea Theater.
