Biography
Marc Lawrence was an American character actor who specialized in underworld types. He appeared in films beginning in 1931 and played scores of gangsters and mob bosses over the next six decades. Lawrence's pock-marked complexion, brooding appearance, and New York street-guy accent made him a natural for heavies. He is best remembered for his portrayal of underworld gangsters and mobsters in films like Diamonds Are Forever, The Man with the Golden Gun, and Marathon Man.
