Marc Duret is a French actor born on September 28, 1957, in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France. He studied drama at the Conservatoire national in Nice and the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art drama. Duret's acting credits include roles in the film La Femme Nikita and the television series Outlander. He was nominated for a 1991 César Award for Most Promising Actor for his portrayal of Rico in La Femme Nikita. Duret was also nominated for a 1994 Molière Award for Best Newcomer for his theatre performance in Les grandes personnes. He has been recognized as one of the best French movie actors by Screen Junkies.
