Mao Miyaji is a Japanese actress born on February 2, 1984, in Sumoto, Hyogo, Japan. Known for her acting career with numerous credits, she was selected in 2002 as the leading heroine of the NHK morning drama Manten. Expanding into music, she covered Momoe Yamaguchi's hit song Cosmos as a singer in 2003. In 2005, she became the seventh lead in the musical Peter Pan. Miyaji has also appeared in leading roles across television dramas such as Water Boys, Minami-kun's Lover, Attack No. 1, and Aibou. Marking her tenth anniversary since her debut, she appeared in the 2010 movie Lost Love Murder and released a nude photobook in October of that same year.
