Liv Ullmann is a Norwegian actress. She was born on December 16, 1938, in Tokyo, Japan. Ullmann is known for her collaborations with filmmaker Ingmar Bergman. She has been recognized as one of the greatest European actresses. Ullmann has received numerous award nominations for her performances, including four Golden Globe nominations, two BAFTA nominations, and two Academy Award nominations. She won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Drama in 1972 for the film The Emigrants. Ullmann has appeared in over 130 acting credits.
