Biography
Linda Edna Cardellini is an American actress born on June 25, 1975, in Redwood City, California. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay area and is of Italian, Irish, German, English, and Scottish descent. Cardellini has established a long-standing career in television and film, gaining recognition for her versatile performances across various genres. Beyond her work in live-action drama and comedy, she has contributed to several animated projects as a voice actress. Throughout her professional life, she has been credited in numerous productions, maintaining a consistent presence in the entertainment industry since the late 1990s.

Cardellini rose to prominence portraying the teenager Lindsay Weir in the cult-classic coming-of-age series Freaks and Geeks, which aired from 1999 to 2000. She later joined the cast of the medical drama ER, where she held a leading role from 2003 to 2009. Her television career continued with a starring role in the drama thriller Bloodline between 2015 and 2017. Additionally, she played the character Judy Hale in the dark comedy-drama series Dead to Me, which ran from 2019 to 2022.
