Leni Lan Yan, also known by her stage name Crazybarby and also known as Leni Lan, is an actress, pop singer, and model. Born in Shanghai, China on March 9, 1990, she moved to Hong Kong at age 18. She took her stage name as a combination of her legal given name Crazy and her family given nickname Barby. She graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Acting Department of the Shanghai Theatre Academy. She was once Jackie Chan's disciple, targeting international markets as a rising artist under Hong Kong's JCE Entertainment Ltd. EMP. Her official debut in showbiz came when she starred in the 2005 romance film Everlasting Regret, directed by Stanley Kwan.
