Kishore Kumar G., known mononymously as Kishore, is an Indian film actor born on August 14, 1974, in Karnataka. He has worked in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi cinema. Kishore made his film debut in the 2004 Kannada film Kanti, playing the character Byaadara Beera. Initially identified to design costumes for the film, he secured an acting role and won a State award for his performance. Director Vetrimaaran later approached him for Desiya Nedunchalai because he was looking for an actor who could speak Tamil with a Kannada accent. Although that project was dropped, it led to an opportunity for Kishore to act in Polladhavan. His other notable roles include a no-nonsense cop in Duniya and a Kabaddi coach.
