Kirill Valerievich Käro is an Estonian-Russian actor born on 24 February 1975 in Tallinn, Estonia. His father was a sea captain of mixed Estonian-Russian descent and his mother was a Russian teacher. Actor Volli Käro is his first cousin, once removed. After graduating from secondary school at Lasnamäe in 1992, Käro completed a five-year acting course at the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute in Moscow. He is best known for his television roles, including playing the lead character in thirty-two episodes of The Sniffer from 2013 to 2017, portraying George Safronov in sixteen episodes of the Netflix science fiction series Better than Us in 2019, and appearing as Sergey in the thriller series To the Lake in 2020.
