Overview
The film "Concrete" is a dramatization of a true crime. The story takes place in 1988, when four individuals abducted and held a young woman in one of their homes. The captors subjected her to severe physical and emotional abuse, including rape and torture. The captors manipulated the investigation by having her deceive her parents into believing she was safe. The woman was held captive for an extended period of time, during which she was forced to participate in a game of mahjong solitaire. The captors ultimately killed her in a violent manner, and then attempted to conceal their crime by burying her in cement. The events depicted in the film are based on a real-life tragedy.
