She was best known for her role as Maggie Forbes in the ITV television series The Gentle Touch, which ran from 1980 to 1984, and its spin-off C.A.T.S. Eyes, which aired from 1985 to 1987. Her acting credits also include appearances in The Pure Hell of St Trinians in 1960, Z-Cars in 1973, General Hospital in 1974, Rooms in 1974, and Dixon of Dock Green in 1974. In addition to her television work, she authored three novels titled Addicted in 1994, Lilian in 1995, and Just Like A Woman in 1997. She was married to fellow actor Alfred Molina.
