Jay Mohr is an American actor, comedian, and radio host born Jon Ferguson Mohr on August 23, 1970, in Verona, New Jersey. Known professionally with 104 known acting credits, he is recognized for roles including film producer Peter Dragon in the television comedy series Action, Professor Rick Payne in Ghost Whisperer from 2006 to 2008, and the title role in the CBS sitcom Gary Unmarried from 2008 to 2010. He was also a featured cast member on the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live from 1993 to 1995 and played sports agent Bob Sugar in the 1996 film Jerry Maguire. Following his feature film debut in Jerry Maguire, his film appearances include Suicide Kings, Picture Perfect, Paulie, Mafia!, Small Soldiers, Go, and Cherry Falls.
