Jared Bush is an American screenwriter, producer, and director who was born on June 12, 1974, in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and is a graduate of Harvard University. He has served as the chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios since 2024. Bush is known for writing and is credited with seventeen known credits on the Movie Database. His work includes co-writing and co-directing the films Zootopia and Zootopia 2, writing Moana, Moana 2, and the upcoming live-action remake of Moana, and writing, directing, and winning an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for the film Encanto.
