Jane Mallory Birkin, OBE, was a British-French actress, singer, and designer born on December 14, 1946, in London, England, and she passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of seventy-six. She achieved international fame and notability through a decade-long musical and romantic partnership with Serge Gainsbourg. Her acting career included a prolific body of work in French cinema alongside appearances in English-language films such as Blowup in 1966, Death on the Nile in 1978, Evil Under the Sun in 1982, and A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries in 1998.
