Biography
Jade Leung Tsang, born Leung Yuk-ying in Hong Kong, is an actress recognized for her work in action and kung fu films. She gained prominence for her performance in the 1991 film Black Cat, which earned her the Best New Performer Award at the 11th Hong Kong Film Awards in 1992. During the 1995 production of Enemy Shadow, Leung sustained hand burns from a mistimed explosion caused by the crew. She required skin graft surgery and a multi-month hospital recovery period, which influenced her future approach to stunts. Following this event, she transitioned to television by joining TVB to appear in dramas. In 2004, she achieved recognition for a role in a pop production.
