Jack Fisk is an American production designer and director born on December 19, 1945, in Clayton, Illinois, United States. He is known for his collaborations with director Terrence Malick, having designed all of Malick's first eight films, which include Badlands, Days of Heaven, The Thin Red Line, and The Tree of Life. His additional production design credits include Phantom of the Paradise, Carrie, Eraserhead, Heart Beat, The Straight Story, Mulholland Drive, Water for Elephants, and The Master. Fisk was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Production Design for his work on There Will Be Blood, The Revenant, and Killers of the Flower Moon.
