Isa Miranda, also known as Ines Isabella Sam, was an Italian actress born in Milan, Lombardy, Italy on July 5, 1909. She passed away on July 8, 1982 at the age of seventy-three. Her career included seventy-four known acting credits. Before achieving success, she worked as a typist while training as a stage actress at the drama academy in Milan and subsequently played bit parts in Italian films in Rome. Her breakthrough came in the 1934 film La Signora di tutti, also known as Everybody's Woman, directed by Max Ophüls. In this film, she portrayed Gaby Doriot, a famous film star and fascinating adventuress. Her performance in the film brought her numerous film offers and a Hollywood contract.
