Huang Zitao, also known professionally as Z.TAO and formerly as Tao, is a Chinese rapper, singer-songwriter, and actor under L.TAO Entertainment. Born on May 2, 1993, in Qingdao, Shandong, China, he was previously a member of the South Korean boy group EXO and its sub-group EXO-M prior to his departure from the group in August 2015.
In 2015, he made his solo debut with the mini-album T.A.O under the stage name Z.Tao. That same year, he made his acting debut in the romantic film You Are My Sunshine. He later gained recognition for his leading roles in the television productions Negotiator and The Brightest Star in the Sky.
