Gordon Cameron Jackson, OBE, was a Scottish actor born in Glasgow on December 19, 1923. He died on January 15, 1990, at the age of 66. Active in the entertainment industry with a large number of known credits, he is best remembered for his television roles as the butler Angus Hudson in Upstairs, Downstairs and as George Cowley, the head of CI5, in The Professionals.
