He began his career in show business as a VJ before debuting in school dramas and films. He earned starring roles in prime-time dramas such as Hello My Teacher and One Fine Day. His status as a drama leading man was solidified by his role as a cafe manager in the romantic comedy The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince, a popular drama that made him a regional star.
