Biography
Emmanuelle Seigner is a French actress and singer born on 22 June 1966. She is the daughter of Jean-Louis Seigner, a photographer, and Aline Ponelle, a journalist. Seigner's sister, Mathilde Seigner, is also an actress, and her sister, Marie-Amélie Seigner, is a singer. They are the granddaughters of an actor through their father. Seigner has been married to Polish film director Roman Polanski since 1989. She has been nominated for several César Awards, including Best Actress for Venus in Fur and Best Supporting Actress for Place Vendôme and La Vie En Rose.
