Elisha Ann Cuthbert is a Canadian actress and model born on November 30, 1982. She began her career hosting the children's television series Popular Mechanics for Kids from 1997 to 2000. Her television work includes playing Kim Bauer on the Fox series 24 between 2001 and 2014, and Alex Kerkovich on the ABC comedy Happy Endings from 2011 to 2013. Her film credits include Airspeed, Love Actually, Old School, The Girl Next Door, House of Wax, and Captivity. She is also recognized for her roles as Danielle in The Girl Next Door and Carly Jones in House of Wax. She gained international recognition through her performance in the series 24.
