Doug Liman is an American film director and producer. He was born on July 24, 1965, in New York City, New York, USA. Liman is known for directing several films, including Swingers, Go, The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jumper, Edge of Tomorrow, American Made, and Road House. He is associated with the production company Hypnotic, which he co-founded with Dave Bartis. Liman is also a co-owner of Brown Television (BTV) and the National Association of College Broadcasters (NACB). He serves on the advisory board of the Legal Action Center and the Arthur Liman Public Interest Program at Yale Law School.
