Biography
Deric Augustine is an actor born in New Orleans, Louisiana, to parents Donna and Deric Augustine. He is the identical twin brother of Deven Augustine, born two minutes after him. Deric began his career in 1991, engaging in acting as well as print and catalog work under his mother's guidance. During his freshman year at Northwest High School in Opelousas, Louisiana, he paused his acting career to care for his mother following her hemorrhagic stroke. To manage family medical expenses, he prioritized academics and athletics. He later attended the University of New Orleans, where he was a star football player and studied subjects including theatre and film.
