Delroy Lindo is a British-born American actor. He was born on November 18, 1952, in Eltham, London, England, UK. Lindo started his career in the 1975 stage production of Of Mice and Men. He later earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor for his work in the 1988 production of Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Lindo has appeared in several films, including roles in Spike Lee's films, such as Malcolm X and Da 5 Bloods. He received the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Actor and the National Society of Film Critics Award for Best Actor for his role in Da 5 Bloods.
