Dayo Wong Chi-Wah, also known as Day, is a Hong Kong stand-up comedian and actor with one hundred five known credits. Born in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong, now China, on September 5, 1960, he earned a bachelor degree in philosophy from the University of Alberta in Canada. He began his career in the Hong Kong entertainment industry in 1984 and started performing regular live stand-up comedy in 1990, for which he is best known. In addition to stand-up, he has starred in television dramas and films, and has recorded several albums. When asked about his movies being less successful compared to his stand-up comedy and TV dramas, he explained that his ultimate goal is to look for something new in his movies.
