Biography
David Roper is a British film and television actor, who is best known for playing Chris Hawthorne in The Cuckoo Waltz (1975-1980) and Charlie Fisher in Leave It to Charlie (1978-1980). Later during his career he played Geoff Barnes in EastEnders (1985-) and Bob Bradshaw in Coronation Street (1960-). Roper also appeared in Crown Court (1972-1984), A Bit of a Do (1989), The Gift (1990), Taggart (1983-2000), The Bill (1984-2010), Heartbeat (1992-2010), Midsomer Murders (1997-), The Crown (2016-2023), Emmerdale (1972-), Holby City (1999-2022), Doctors (2000-2024) and Casualty (1986-).
