Biography

David Bamber is an English actor who has worked in television and theatre. He is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he won the Gold Medal in 1979. Bamber's television work includes appearances in The Professionals and The Gentle Touch, as well as starring in the BBC adaptation of The Buddha of Suburbia. He has also had a successful stage career, winning the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor for his performance in My Night with Reg and appearing in productions such as The Crucible.
