Damián Alcázar is a Mexican actor born on January 8, 1953, in Jiquilpan, Michoacan. He studied at the National Institute of Fine Arts, the Centro of Theater Experimentation, and the Faculty of Theater at the Universidad Veracruzana. Alcázar made his film debut in The Center of the Labyrinth in 1985. He has appeared in films such as Romero, The Naked City, Bandidos, Mujer del Puerto, Lolo, and others. Alcázar has worked in the theater for several years prior to his film career. He has taught at the Universidad Veracruzana. The Faculty of Theater at the Universidad Veracruzana later employed him as a teacher.
