Biography
Christopher Ryan, born Christopher Papazoglou on January 25, 1950, is a British actor. He is recognized for his television roles, including Mike in the BBC comedy series The Young Ones and Dave Hedgehog in the BBC comedy series Bottom. His other credits include portraying Tony Driscoll in Only Fools and Horses and Marshall Turtle, the ex-husband of Edina Monsoon, in the sitcom Absolutely Fabulous. Additionally, Ryan appeared as the McKendrick twins in the series One Foot in the Grave. In 2008, he played the character Sontaran General Staal in the television program Doctor Who.
