Chen Yuqi, also known by her English name Yukee and birth name Chen Qian, is a Chinese actress born in Chengdu, Sichuan, China on July 29, 1997. She graduated from the Department of Arts of Jincheng College of Sichuan University, where she majored in performance. Chen began her career working as an extra in Hengdian World Studios, facing struggles to secure roles until she was discovered in 2015 by Tang Yang while filming Westward Journey 3. She received recognition for her supporting role in the 2016 costume drama Princess Wei Yang, winning the Annual Emerging Drama Star award at the 2017 China TV Drama Quality Festival in February 2017. In August 2018, she received the New Generation Female Artist of the Year award at the InStyle Annual Idol Festival Awards.
