Carlos Manuel Leon is a personal trainer and actor born on July 10, 1966, in Cuba. He left Cuba during the Mariel boat lift in 1980. Leon is widely known for his former relationship with singer Madonna, with whom he shares a daughter, Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, born on October 14, 1996. The two met in New York.
As an actor, Leon is recognized for his television work in the show Oz and three episodes of Law and Order, as well as playing a struggling addict in Anne B. Real. He made his Broadway debut as Charles Filch in Wallace Shawn's adaptation of Brecht and Weill's The Threepenny Opera, acting alongside Alan Cumming, Cyndi Lauper, and Ana Gasteyer.
