Betty Gilpin, born Elizabeth Folan Gilpin on July 21, 1986, is an American actress recognized for her performances in television and film. She gained notable acclaim for her role as Debbie "Liberty Belle" Eagan in the Netflix series "GLOW" (2017–2019), a comedy-drama set in the 1980s about the fictional Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. Gilpin was raised in New York City and comes from a family with ties to acting, as her father, Jack Gilpin, is also an actor. She pursued acting through training and stage work before achieving wider recognition.
