Biography

Ashley Anthony Walters is a British actor and rapper born on 30 June 1982. Also known by the stage name Asher D, he initially rose to fame as a member of the UK garage group So Solid Crew, which achieved a number one hit on the UK charts with the single 21 Seconds. Walters began his acting career in the early 2000s, appearing in Storm Damage in 2000, Bullet Boy in 2004, Get Rich or Die Tryin' in 2005, and Life and Lyrics in 2006. He later achieved nationwide fame during the 2010s for his lead role as Dushane Hill in the British crime drama series Top Boy and for his role as Ronnie Pike.
