Biography

Ann Bridgewater, also known as Pak On-Lei or 柏安妮, is a former Hong Kong actress. Born in 1965 in Hong Kong, she is of mixed British, Chinese, and Malay parentage. Bridgewater attended Christ Church Kindergarten, the Diocesan Girls' School, and the King George V School in Hong Kong. At a young age, she demonstrated a strong work ethic by winning an ice skating competition at the age of thirteen, and later won a 1984 Singles competition in Dallas, as well as the Taiwan Pairs competition. She was reportedly offered a place at Oxford University, which she declined to pursue a career in film and singing in Hong Kong.
