Ane Dahl Torp is a Norwegian actress born in Bærum, Norway, on August 1, 1975. She is the daughter of linguistics professor Arne Torp. She made her film debut in The Woman of My Life in 2003 and subsequently gained recognition for her work in Svarte penger, hvite løgner in 2004, Gymnaslærer Pedersen in 2006, and Lønsj in 2008. During her career, she has won multiple Amanda Awards for her performances and was named a Shooting Star at the Berlin Film Festival in 2006. In television, Torp starred in the Norwegian political thriller series Occupied from 2015 to 2020 and took leading roles in Home Ground in 2018 and Deliver Me in 2024.
