Biography
Allison Mackie is an American actress born on January 25, 1960, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She stands 5 feet 5 and a half inches tall and is the cousin of C. Courtney Joyner. Mackie graduated from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, before moving to New York City to train at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater and the Actor's Studio. During her time at the Neighborhood Playhouse, she co-founded the Actor's Group of New York alongside Joanne Woodward, Allison Janney, Dylan McDermott, Mark Moses, and Matthew Carnahan. Her film credits include appearances in Sliver, released in 1993, Original Sin from 2001, and the 2015 production Those People.
