Alican Yücesoy is a Turkish actor and director who was born in Istanbul, Turkey on October 22, 1982. His maternal family is of Turkish descent and immigrated from Ruse, where the Turkish minority lives in Bulgaria, while his paternal family is of Arab descent. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Bursa before enrolling in the Haliç University Theatre Department for acting education. Following an audition the day after entering the school, he began working at the Bakirköy Municipality Theatre, and as of 2015, he serves as the theatre's general art director. He has also appeared in television series and movies, including portraying Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the films Zübeyde Analar ve Oğullar and Son Osmanlı Yandım Ali.
