Biography

Alican Yücesoy is a Turkish actor and director. His maternal family is of Turkish descent, having immigrated from Ruse, where a Turkish minority lives in Bulgaria. His paternal family is of Arab descent. Yücesoy completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Bursa before enrolling in the Haliç University Theatre Department to pursue acting. Following an audition held the day after he entered university, he began working at the Bakirköy Municipality Theatre. He subsequently started appearing in various television series and motion pictures. As of 2015, Yücesoy serves as the general art director of the Bakirköy Municipality Theatre.
