Adrienne-Joi Akua Okyerebea Johnson, also known as AJ Johnson, is an American actress, life and wellness coach, fitness trainer, dancer, choreographer, and model. Born on January 2, 1963, in Orange, New Jersey, she graduated with honors from Spelman College in Atlanta in 1985 and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. Acting since 1987, she has appeared in feature films and television movies, including House Party and Baby Boy, alongside numerous guest appearances in music videos, sitcoms, and television dramas. Her television credits include roles in A Different World, In the Heat of the Night, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Amen, Chicago Hope, The Jamie Foxx Show, and Touched by an Angel.
