Fukuoka TNC News Broadcast Online Broadcast — Live Stream & TV Schedule

TNC, TV Nishinippon Corporation, is a commercial broadcaster based in Fukuoka, the largest city in Kyushu. It belongs to the Fuji Television networks, FNN for news and FNS for general programming, and in the Fukuoka area it sits on button 8 of the remote control.

This stream carries TNC's news from Fukuoka Prefecture and the wider northern Kyushu region. Local politics in Fukuoka City and Kitakyushu, the regional economy and transport links feature regularly. Weather coverage takes on real importance here, because Kyushu often bears the brunt of heavy rain during the early-summer rainy season and of typhoons in late summer and fall, and landslide and flood warnings can come quickly.

Fukuoka is also one of the major Japanese cities closest to South Korea, with ferry and air links to Busan, so cross-border travel and tourism are a recurring local topic.

Local events also feature heavily, from the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks baseball team to the Hakata Gion Yamakasa festival every July, when teams race heavy floats through the streets of the city's historic Hakata district.

Broadcasts are in Japanese and follow Japan Standard Time (UTC+9).
