Zacatillo, un lugar en tu corazón is a Mexican telenovela of the comedy and drama genres produced in 2010 by Lucero Suárez. The series stars Ingrid Martz and Jorge Aravena, with the antagonistic involvement of Laura Zapata, Alejandro Ibarra, and Carmen Becerra. The story follows Karla, who is portrayed by Ingrid Martz as an actress and singer. After performing a concert at Zacatillo, Karla decides to take a rest from the show business industry, which leads to her agent ordering to have her killed. Univision later aired the program, broadcasting single episodes on weekdays starting on May 10, 2011, and concluding on August 5, 2011, at the 3pm/2pm central time slot as a replacement for Mar de amor. Beginning on August 8, 2011, the network broadcast double episodes of the telenovela on weekdays at the 2pm/1pm central time slot. The broadcast schedule underwent further adjustments when Esperanza del Corazón replaced one hour of the show starting on September 6, 2011, and running through October 17, 2011.
