At the same time, Empress Wu, who is at the beginning of her reign, has commissioned the fierce detective Yuchi to investigate a sea monster that stalks the city at night and makes it unsafe. The film features a cast that includes Carina Lau, Sheng Chien, Mark Chao, and Angelababy, and it was directed by Hark Tsui. The runtime of the movie is two hours and fourteen minutes, and it is also known by its Chinese title.
