Overview

Wild Daze is a documentary film released in the United States on September 18, 2020, with a runtime of one hour and forty minutes. The documentary takes an unflinching look at various perspectives surrounding the brutal maiming and killing of elephants in Africa by poachers for their ivory. Much of the harvested ivory is exported to China or smuggled into the United States, generating profits that help fund terrorist organizations and are used to purchase guns and artillery. The film shows how this slaughter has severely decimated the elephant population, left surviving elephants traumatized, and caused serious harm to the forests of Eastern and Southern Africa.
