The format of the series served as the basis for the British show You Bet! and the American show Wanna Bet?. Created by Frank Elstner, the show featured ordinary people attempting daring or humorous bets. Celebrities were also challenged to guess the outcomes of these wagers. Over the course of its run, the series involved contributors such as Frank Elstner, Thomas Gottschalk, Michelle Hunziker, and Mirjam Weichselbraun. The production was directed by Frank Hof.
